Discovery report | We report the discovery of a possible nova at 18.1CV on several 120-s survey images (limit mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory #2 (N89) around 2022 Nov. 11.50940 UT using a unfiltered CCD (+0.5m f/4 reflector). The transient approximately located at RA= 00h41m25.72s, DEC = +40d44m23.3s (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 886.2″ west and 1905.2″ south of the center of the NGC224 (M31). |
