| Discovery report | We report the discovery of a possible nova in M31 (mag = 19.9 ± 0.18). The object was detected on several 300-s survey images (limiting mag ~20.5) taken on 2026 Aug. 17.77236 UT by Xing Gao in the course of the XOSS survey. | ||
