POSSIBLE NOVA IN M31Bin Wang(Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China) and Xing Gao (Urumqi, Xinjiang, China),report the discovery of a possible nova (mag approximately 17.6) on two 60-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observatory Sky Survey(C42) around Jan. 16.51868 UT using a unfilled CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=356-mm @f/6.9 ). the new object approximately located at R.A.=00h42m39s.07 Decl.=+41°13’25”.8 (equinox 2000.0).Which is about 58 West and 163 South of center of the NGC224.Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Jan 15.52(limiting mag 19.0);Jan 10.51(limiting mag 19.0)
