金彰伟 XM41ZJ = SN2013ae * 超新星 Ia

POSSIBLE SUPERNOVA IN an anonymous galaxy
Zhangwei Jin(Ningbo, Zhejiang, China) and Xing Gao (Urumqi, Xinjiang, China), report the discovery of a possible supernova (mag approximately 16.2) on two 40-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.0)taken by Xing Gao in Xingming ObservationSky Survey(C42) around Feb .19.66120 and 21.65104,UT,2013. using an unfiltered CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=350-mm @f/6.9 ).the new object approximately located at R.A. =02h 41m 53s.16 Decl.=+43°23’58”.9(equinox 2000.0). Which is about 1″ west and 1″ south of the center of the host galaxy.
Nothing is visible at this position at this position on archival images taken on Jan.31,2013. (limiting mag 19.5) or on the DSS(POSS2/UKSTU Red) from Oct. 01,1989(limiting mag about 19.8)

SUPERNOVA 2013ae = PSN J02415316+4323589
Zhangwei Jin, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China; and Xing Gao, Urumqi, Xinjiang,
China, report the discovery of a possible supernova (mag approximately 16.2)
on two unfiltered CCD 40-s images (limiting mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao
in the course of the Xingming Sky Survey around Feb. 19.6612 and 21.6510 UT
using a Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.  The new object is
approximately located at R.A. = 2h41m53s.16, Decl. = +43d23’58”.8 (equinox
2000.0), which is about 1″ west and 1″ south of the center of the presumed
host galaxy.  Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on
Jan. 31 (limiting mag 19.5) or on a red Digitized Sky Survey image from 1989
Oct. 1 (limiting mag about 19.8).  The discovery images from Mt. Nanshan
have been posted at website URL http://www.xjltp.com/XOSS/XM41ZJ/XM41ZJ.htm.
The variable was designated PSN J02415316+4323589 when it was posted at the
Central Bureau’s TOCP webpage and is here designated SN 2013ae based on the
spectroscopic confirmation reported below.  Three stacked 90-s follow-up
images taken on Mar. 2.581 by Zhijian Xu and Xing Gao in the course of the
Xingming survey yield magnitude 16.5 for 2013ae; their image is posted at URL
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75341417@N06/8520884845/in/photostream.

P. Ochner, A. Pastorello, L. Tomasella, S. Benetti, E. Cappellaro, and M.
Turatto, Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica,
report that optical spectroscopy (range 340-800 nm; resolution 0.65 nm),
obtained on Feb. 28.80 UT with the Asiago 1.22-m Galileo Telescope (+ Boller &
Chivens spectrograph), shows that PSN J02415316+4323589 = SN 2013ae is a
type-Ia supernova.  Adopting for the presumed host galaxy the redshift z =
0.028, as measured from the position of the narrow H_alpha of a nearby H II
region, an excellent match is obtained with the type-Ia supernova 2003du
(Stanishev et al. 2007, A.Ap. 469, 645) about two weeks after B-band maximum
light.  The velocity of the ejected material, as measured from the position
of the minimum of the Si II 635.5-nm line, is about 10500 km/s.  The Asiago
classification spectra are posted at the URL http://graspa.oapd.inaf.it; the
classification is made via GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A.Ap. 488, 383)
and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024).
