POSSIBLE SUPERNOVA IN PGC 62205
Wei Gao,Yang Shen,Ziheng Zhang,Di Hu,Haochen Xue,Mi Zhang,Qiang Yin,Yunxiang Yu,Jiayi Xu,Liangjian Liao,Yanwen Lou,Luze Li,Weizhaohuang Song,Shaoxiong Gu,Cheng Ji,Xiaobing Wang,Tianyu Tu,Aobo Wang,Shulei Yin,Guoyou Sun,Xing Gao, report the discovery of a possible supernova (mag approximately 17.7) on one 40-s survey image (limiting mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observation Sky Survey(C42) around Feb 29.98125 UT. using an unfiltered CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=356-mm @f/6.9 ). The new object approximately located at R.A.=18h 39m 18s.89 Decl.=+38 56 09.1(equinox 2000.0). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Dec.05,2015(limiting mag 19.0), or on the DSS(POSS-II Red) from May.30,1993(limiting mag about 20.5).
