POSSIBLE NOVA IN Pegasus
Guoyou Sun(Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China) and Xing Gao (Urumqi, Xinjiang, China),report the discovery of a possible nova (mag approximately 14.5) on several 40-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.0)taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observatory Sky Survey(C42) around Oct 27.64362 UT using a unfiltered CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=356-mm @f/6.9 ). The new object approximately located at R.A.=21h58m18s.52 Decl.=+24°19’24”.6 (equinox 2000.0). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Oct.14 (limiting mag 19) and on the DSS(POSS2/UKSTU Red) from Oct. 11,1990(limiting mag about 19.8).
