Discovery report | We report the discovery of a possible Nova at 16.22+-0.14CV on several 120-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.5CV) taken by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory “#”2 (N89) around 2023 Dec. 03.51478 UT using a unfiltered CCD (+0.5m f/4 reflector). The transient approximately located at RA= 00h42m27.55s, DEC = +41d11m08.6s (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 189.1″ west and 299.9″ south of the center of the NGC224(M31). |
