The outburst of a variable star candidate
Mi Zhang and Xing Gao, report the discovery of a variable star candidate (mag approximately 19.6) on several 300-s survey images (limiting mag about 21.5) taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observatory Sky Survey(C42) around Nov. 28.71167 UT using a unfiltered CCD ( + 0.6-m f/8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope ). The transient approximately located at R.A.=00h43m30.01s +41d07’27”.9 (equinox 2000.0). Which is about 515.1″ east and 520.6″ south of the center of the NGC224(M31). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Nov. 01.66395 UT(limiting mag 21.5).
