Discovery report | We report the discovery of a possible UV at 15.4CV on several 30-s survey images (limiting mag about 18.5CV) taken by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory “#”2 (N89) around 2023 Mar. 25.61002 UT using a unfiltered CCD (+0.5m f/4 reflector). The transient approximately located at RA= 09h36m28.17s, DEC = +37d07m55.6s (equinox 2000.0). Follow-up observations were performed by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory #3 (N88) around 2023 Mar. 25.67325 UT using a unfiltered CCD (+ 0.6-m f/8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope). Several 120-s survey images (limiting mag about 20.0) showed that the candidate has decreased to 17.7CV. The candidate likely to be an UV star. |
